So the story goes, the week I recovered from that horrid disease.. ok.. flu, my sister threw a BBQ at our place to commemorate her turning the lucky 2-8!
I absolutely love BBQs or any dinner parties thrown at my place because it means MY MOTHER IS INVOLVED! And if anyone knows anything about Mummy, is that she throws AWESOME PARTIES!!
Back in the day, my yearly childhood parties were always a load of fun. It ranged from making jewelry to painting cute porcelain bears. Cmon, who else had these kinda parties? (:
And the food.... yums. I know a lot of your mums must cook awesome home-cooked meals, but Mummy cooks awesome dinner party meals!! ha ha ha.
Say Hi to Mummy! (: The most awesome person I know in my life, the one I model my life motto after (:
The three BBQ pit stations which churned out Melt-in-Your-Mouth Steaks, Garlic Prawns, Sausages of all sorts, Otah, Honey Soy Chicken Wings and Sweet Potato.
If you haven't tried our Kee Steaks and Lamb Chops, I'm sorry to say you really haven't lived :x
But come on over, and I'll gladly make you one! Maybe at my next BBQ!
And Mummy's Garlic Prawns are to DIE FOR.
Unfortunately, she and I aren't exactly the most health-conscious freaks around, so our food are soaked in fats and cholesterol. But, Live Hard, Die Young right?
Ten eggs, Five each. Who will peel them faster?
ME OF COURSE!
heh.
Made my infamous Kee's Egg Mayo Sandwich for Ainsley and his colleagues 'cos he was due for an overnight stint at Ritz Carlton after the BBQ. :( He's getting so busy nowadays, and I am getting so free.
Having said that, I spent the whole of today applying for jobs.
Yes, Michelle Kee has officially started to look for a job!!!
And, honestly I'm not sure what I want to do.
No. I know exactly what I want to do. But I also know I want MONEY. or rather, I need money to fulfill my primary dream.
See-Saw of Choices.
I am really looking to God for this next step. I want to go where He places me because I've tried pleasing myself and others around me and it hasn't really been working out. So maybe I should just please Him first. Ha ha.
So, here's a list to where I've applied today:
1. A whole range of Commercial Accounting jobs
2. A whole range to Bank Ops jobs
3. Accountant - JTC
4. Management Associate - Learning Lab
5. City Scout - heh
6. Events Executive
7. The Big Four - Corporate Finance positions
8. Business Analyst - ANZ
9. Wholesale Banking - Stand. Chart.
A total of 18 jobs.
I know I've just started looking, but my fear is already growing.
Since my 'O' Levels, everybody has been telling me that I am smart, that I will do well, etc etc.
But, I am smart enough to know that the people I'm competing with are even smarter. :x
I can only pray to God and hope He has a place for me somewhere!
Bloody Hell, Happy Birthday LittleLoser! xxm
btw: I'm really starting to h.a.t.e. my pink camera!! It's damn lousy quality :(
