Days Till Kool Korea ♥

お寿司をいくつかしますか?
Thursday, 12 January 2012

I am hoping my title says: Would you like some sushi?

My present to Mummy for Christmas!
We made it together on NYE ♥

It's this Japanese craze called Popin' Cookin' and yes, I watched in on Xiaxue's Clicknetwork!
I am a fan of hers since back in 2004. heh. Got a problem with that?

Anyway, it looks really real, is edible and tiny in size! (Made out of grape jelly!)
And I thought it would provide great bonding time with Mummy - she loved it!

You basically mix the jelly powder with water and wait for it to set in to sushi!
And then you roll their "rice" and "seaweed" as you please!

This was the highlight - making the roe. All hail the Japs man - they are ingenious.
Super fun!!

Our final product... wasn't really fantastic. hee. but who cares! They look so kawaii!
It was a really hot night - so it was kinda melting on us -.- and it was real sticky hahaha

All in all, really fun and I'm glad I bought it.
Buy from here! Only downside was I had to go all the way to Marsiling MRT to pick it up! But she was pretty nice and efficient to deal with!

Looking at the pictures is making me so excited for our Jap dinner tomorrow!!!
AND JB seafood on Saturday! Whee!

On a totally irrelevant note, somebody finally put my religion-relevant thoughts in to a rap.
Well, he is almost spot-on. Almost. Glad to know I'm not the only 'society-deemed weirdo'.
Watch!

Anyway! before I go to bed - met up with Liz today and look what she got me from Hongkong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you remember seeing it on my facebook, I'm a huge fan (:

Bloody Hell, 16 Days Left!!
xxm
